Privacy Notice
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This Privacy Notice explains how Emily Nelson ("we", "us"), the operator of Archie's Paintball Target Score, handles personal data. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below.
Data we collect
- Account data — email address, username/nickname, and login credentials (handled by our authentication provider; we never see your password).
- Gameplay data — scores, best streaks, and leaderboard entries linked to your username.
- Support messages — anything you send us when you ask for help.
- Usage and device data — basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and IP address, used for security and to keep the game running.
- Local preferences — your theme (light/dark) and local best score, stored on your own device.
Payment details (card numbers, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, when you make a purchase — we never see or store your full card details.

Who we share it with
- Service providers that host and operate the game, authentication, and database on our behalf.

How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, account data for as long as your account is active. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the support option in the game menu and we will respond within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect personal data.
Cookies and local storage
The game uses essential storage only: authentication tokens to keep you signed in, and local storage on your device for your theme preference and best score. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date above. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated notice.
